We serve Lakeland and the western part of Polk County with scheduled tree removal, trimming and stump grinding from our Tampa service office. Lakeland is a city with its own tree regulations, separate from unincorporated Polk County, so the first step on any removal is confirming which side of the city line your property is on.
East along I-4
Polk is a big, mostly inland county of lakes, citrus groves and growing towns. Our reach is its western side, closest to Plant City and the Hillsborough line, where Lakeland's older neighborhoods and newer subdivisions keep crews busy with oaks and pines.
Because jobs here are a longer drive than Tampa work, most are booked visits, while storm damage on a house still gets a crew as fast as we can send one.
Plant City sits right on the Polk line, and work often runs on from east Hillsborough into Lakeland. Larger jobs, like removing several oaks or clearing a lot, are planned so the crew and equipment make one trip, which keeps the cost down for customers on the far side of I-4.
Lakes, oaks and old groves
Lakeland's older streets around its many lakes carry big live oaks and laurel oaks, many of them decades old, along with camphor trees that were planted long before anyone called them invasive. Former grove land and new subdivisions add pines and young street trees.
Inland Polk is spared the salt of the coast, but summer storms still bring down weak limbs and shallow-rooted trees on soaked ground.

City or county in Polk
Lakeland is a city in Polk County with its own tree regulations, separate from unincorporated Polk County, so the same oak can need a permit on one side of the city line and not the other. Florida's hazard-tree statute applies in both places. We confirm the jurisdiction and the requirement before scheduling any removal. Settling that early avoids delays.
